We are proud to announce that the Vir Mortalis staff, the UK esports organisation that won the Insomnia61 versus MnM gaming, joined Wind and Rain.
Welcome to:

Jake Reynolds @Jakey_Rey
Sam Newbould @MannimalGG
Louis Green @louisfgreen
Luci Nadrag @AngelArcherLoL

We are happy to work with these talented guys and we’re looking forward to the next success together.
Here the statement of Jake “Jakey” Reynolds and Louis “Smeagol” Green:

This is a statement regarding Vir Mortalis and the future of its staff.

It is with regret that we must inform you that as of today, Vir Mortalis will cease any on goings
Our business plan was dependent on a number of factors. Unfortunately, a critical factor did not materialise. As a result, Vir Mortalis have been forced to fold with immediate effect

Wisdom often comes to people in the most unlikely of places, most often through failure. If you don’t fail, you don’t learn as effectively. As a result Vir Mortalis will serve as a learning curve for us. I’m glad that we took the opportunity to try, and that it was our own organization, meaning it is at nobody else’s expense

When one door closes, another door opens. On this note, we are delighted to announce that Vir Mortalis and it’s staff have been acquired by eSports organization ‘Wind and Rain’. Wind and Rain notice us through our recent success. They understand how passionate we all are, and we share the same drive, and goals.
We join Wind and Rain with a clear plan to produce the best results. With their guidance, and our experiences, we will be successful

Further more we would like to thank everyone who worked with us, and everyone who’s supported us. We hope you will continue to support in our new adventure.

The show must go on

-Jake “Jakey” Reynolds

Smeagol’s Statement
I’m pretty gutted about ViM folding but Im happy to be given the opportunity to join an organisation like WAR the management/support staff/players are all super motivated and welcoming. It’s a totally different environment to any other org I’ve worked at and I love it. Can’t wait for the upcoming split!
