Raleigh, North Carolina
I’ve lived on the east coast of the US my entire life. I was an accountant for 6 years and hated it so I went back to school for Game Design and now I am an assistant producer at Epic Games working on their MOBA Paragon.
Q/A with the Wind And Rain Assistant Manager
Why did you choose to work with WaR
-I started following WaR on Twitter after watching and enjoying them play in the EU CS. Also to be honest I just thought they had a sweet logo and jersey. The more I heard about the available position the more excited I became to be a part of the organization’s future.
What do you do in your dayjob
-I was an Accountant for 6 years but let’s just say it wasn’t for me (I hated it). I went back to school for a degree in Game Design and now I am living the dream as an Assistant Producer at Epic Games working on Paragon.
How did you got into esports
-I grew up playing Counter-Strike and have always gravitated towards any competitive online game. Watching professionals play the games I love at a high-level is both educational and thrilling for me, I was instantly hooked.
Favorite Esport Memory
-It may be a very recent memory but the opportunity to be a part of the first ever Epic Games sponsored Paragon tournament was an experience I will never forget.
What’s your favorite ’90s jam?
-Summer Girls by LFO – “New Kids on the Block had a bunch of hits, chinese food makes me sick” still rings true even to this day.
League of Legends becomes a Movie, for what champion would they cast you?
-Garen, my heart and soul are always for Demacia. We also have very similar dance moves.
What’s the last thing you watched on TV and why did you choose to watch it?
-My wife and I binge watched This is Us to try and find a show we could enjoy together. I may or may not have cried during a few episodes.
